MELAKA RIVER CRUISE

You will arrive 13 minutes and 10 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to Melaka River Cruise. Highly enjoyable river cruise which takes you along Melaka river. Total journey time is about half an hour, and you get to see the nice architecture throughout the city, the street art and even monitor lizards swimming by the side.

THE SHORE OCEANARIUM 

You will arrive 15 minutes and 11.2 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to The Shore Oceanarium. The place is technically a zoo, but showcases the ones living underwater, and those reptilians / amphibians animals. Highly informative, with clear descriptions of the animals on display. We recalled being able to touch the starfish, but all other animals are out of bounds. Clean, and noy smelly! Fun, family-bonding time. It suits the kids just fine, and adults alike.

MENARA TAMING SARI

You will arrive 17 minutes and 13 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to Taming Sari. Taming Sari (which means "flower shield", "beautiful shield" or "the main shield" in Malay is a famous kris in Malay folklore. It is believed to have been wielded by the legendary Malaccan warrior Hang Tuah, and is fabled to grant physical invulnerability to its wielder.

THE STADTHYUS

You will arrive 17 minutes and 11.7 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to The Stadthyus. Great place to learn history of Melaka, the place where so many pivotal moment of South Asian history happended. There are more than one museum inside the beautiful ex-colonial building.

THE SHORE SKY TOWER

You will arrive 17 minutes and 11.2 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to The Shore Sky Tower. Great view of Melaka from up there. It is pretty under rated at the moment so not many people there. There is a restaurant below the deck. You have to pay to go to the top. (still value for money) You have pay at level 41st floor and then walk on glass panels path and stairs up to level 43. Interesting walk here on glass panels. On the deck, there is a section where the flooring is made of glass panel and it is a photo op here. Overall, it is a great view and relaxing up there away from the crowd. It is walking distance from Jonkers Walk.

THE ORANGUTAN HOUSE

You will arrive 17 minutes and 11.8 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to The Orangutan House. The Orangutan House is a quirky little shop selling art and t-shirts designed by Charles Cham. Most of the t-shirts have a design in the centre with a local Malaysian flavour. There’s also some paintings on display. Worth a look if you’re in Malacca, especially if you’re on the lookout for a unique tee from the city as a memento.

UPTOWN PAHLAWAN WALK

You will arrive 19 minutes and 12 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to Uptown Pahlawan Walk. Pahlawan Walk or Uptown Pahlawan Walk Banda Hilir is the place to get the dedicated souvenirs from the Historic City of Melaka. Souvenirs from T-Shirt, Dodol ( a sweet toffee-like sugar palm-based confection), Belacan and Cincaluk (Shrimp Paste and Fermented Shrimp Paste) can be easily found here at a reasonable price.

JONKER WALK A.K.A JONKER STREET NIGHT MARKET

You will arrive 20 minutes and 12.3 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to Jonker Walk a.k.a Jonker Street. What’s interesting in Melaka’s Jonker Street Night market is that you will find food stalls offering classical Malaysian food, the local Nyonya cuisine, and the food of its most significant communities, the Chinese and Indian, and that of the neighboring country Thailand.

RUMAH TERBALIK MELAKA @ UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE MELAKA

You will arrive 20 minutes and 13.8 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to Rumah Terbalik Melaka. Come and experience the the latest tourist spots in Melaka. Basically this house upside down into five parts, Living room, kitchen, children's room, master bedroom and bathroom. Is a family concept. Here you can take some creative and funny pictures.

HANG JEBAT MAUSOLEUM

You will arrive 20 minutes and 12 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to Makam Hang Jebat. The Hang Jebat Mausoleum is the tomb of Hang Jebat, the legendary Malaccan. The mausoleum is contained within a walled garden at the end of which is Islamic style grave underneath a canopy. The garden and general area are surprisingly well kept. The garden has several display boards describing the story of Hang Jebat in more detail.

MAMEE JONKER HOUSE

You will arrive 21 minutes and 12.3 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to Mamee Jonker House. Mamee noodle workshop at monster kitchen. This activity located at 2nd floor, however, we need to pay at 1st floor. It cost RM 22 per pax. This is good edutainment for children as they can make the Mamee monster noodle from the scratch.

ENCORE MELAKA

You will arrive 23 minutes and 19 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to Encore Melaka. Encore Melaka Theatre is located at the city’s waterfront, it will be the jewel in the crown of the IMPRESSION CITY tourist-centric resort development and the future cultural landmark of Melaka.

MUZIUM KAPAL SELAM 

You will arrive 30 minutes and 19 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to Muzium Kapal Selam. If you and your family (or company) are interested in experiencing the atmosphere of spending the night in this ship, the Melaka museum also has an Overnight in a Submarine package. PANTAI KLEBANG

You will arrive 30 minutes and 20 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to Pantai Klebang. Pantai Klebang is a popular Melaka beach near 1 Malaysian Square. The beach is well known for its white sand dunes and is a perfect backdrop for photographs. It is great for fun-filled family activities such as horse riding, flying kites, and enjoying the beautiful beach.

The beach also has a playground for children, and there are several food trucks beside the playground that serve delicious snacks. It is particularly famous for its coconut shakes and food trucks.

KOTA A'FAMOSA

You will arrive 33 minutes and 35 kilometer from AnaStays Bayou Lagoon to Kota A'Famosa. A Famosa was first built to repel the attacks of native Malay people and it took about 5 months to complete. Most of the building materials to build Kota A Famosa were taken from the ruins of mosques and other buildings destroyed by the invasion that had taken place. Today, the remains of A Famosa are preserved and many tourists, Malaysian or not, visit this place every year to see the structures of historic buildings in Melaka.
